Thanks, Kay, for the unifying experience of Changing Hearts.
“Keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.” John 17:11
“I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one as you Father are in me and I in you. That they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.” John 17:20
Various members of the Christian community of Greenfield gathered together in a common Prayer Space, praying to our One God for one reason.
“This is my commandment, Love one another as I love you.” John 15:12
We reached out in Love for all those we have never met, that they be drawn to Our One God, Jesus the Christ, through His Holy Spirit. I did not sense any division among us. We looked at each other with love, and then looked to our One God with a unifying love, asking for His blessings among the world’s lost people.
One individuals plans brought several of us together in a school’s gymnasium as we tried to Change Hearts, seeking our Savior’s mercy. We were standing, we were sitting and some of us were lying face-down on the floor, our faces wet with tears, praying for forgiveness. We were neither Methodist nor Baptists nor Catholics – we were one unified faith gathering of Jesus’ Lovers asking our God’s help to obey His commands.
Thanks, Kay! Thanks, My God!
I’ll try to never forget.
