Changing Hearts

April 29, 2018

This is the April 29, 2018, Changing Hearts US radio broadcast – Prayer Point: On Friday April 27th, public schools across the nation held a “Day of Silence”.  The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network asked middle and high schools students to remain silent all day even during class time so as to show solidarity with their cause.  They are the largest homosexual advocacy group in the nation. Since you are hearing this after the date, please go to your principal when you can and voice your concerns.

Praise Point:  The U.S. Senate has voted to confirm former CIA Director Mike Pompeo as the nation’s new Secretary of State.  The Senate voted to confirm Pompeo 57 to 42. Throughout the confirmation process, Pompeo’s home church prayed for and supported him. It certainly seems that God has answered that prayer!

Prayer Point:  In California, Assembly Bill 2943, which passed through the California State Assembly on Thursday, would make any transaction relating to the practice to change someone’s sexual orientation unlawful. This means that any effort to help those with same-sex attractions could result in legal issues for Christian counselors, priests, etc. And would have a chilling effect on free speech.  Dearest Lord, please help us reach and teach those suffering from same-sex attraction with your way, your truth and your light.  Amen.

PRAY:  for Washington and W. Virginia.  From coast to coast we need people praying for our culture to return to God.  Correcting these 6 moral issues is crucial to pleasing God.   Our fasting suggestions are to give up potatoes this week. That means no French fries, baked potatoes or you can take colder showers all week long.  Fasting from comfort is a sacrifice we Americans find hard.

Please visit us at changinghearts.us and as always, keep Kay Dodds and her family in your prayers.

May you see Jesus’ hand in your life each day as He blesses you.
