Changing Hearts US – September 10, 2017

We are adopted children of God

Pray for North Carolina and North Dakota.  It is important that these people see God moving in their lives, so they can trust Him and change their culture.

Our fasting suggestions are to give up salt, fried foods and all snacks on your fast day or fast as God asked in Isaiah 58:7 “shelter the oppressed and the homeless.”  Collect all your loose change this week and give it to a charity for the Harvey victims.

Please take action and urge others to take action against the TV show Preacher (see below.)

Praise Point:  One of the advertisers of “Preacher” the show that blasphemes Jesus, has stopped.  Thanks to people like you, Cricket Wireless has responded to our outrage and left the show. It will take more pressure for AMC to remove this blaspheming show.  Now we must work to remove Proctor and Gamble from the list of advertisers. You can e-mail or call Proctor and Gamble at

Kentucky trial could make this state first in U.S. with no abortion clinic

Prayer Point:   Kentucky’s “unapologetically pro-life” governor and the state’s last abortion clinic will square off in a federal courtroom.  In a three-day trial, which starts this Wednesday September 13th, the state will argue before a U.S. District judge in Louisville that EMW Women’s Surgical Center does not have proper state-required agreements with a hospital and an ambulance service in case of medical emergencies.

Praise Point:  This fall, a former Virginia abortion facility will be transformed into a community health center that helps some of the most vulnerable people in society. The Amethyst Women’s Health Center in Manassas, Virginia spent almost three decades making money aborting about 1,300 unborn babies each year, the Catholic News Agency reports.

Since it closed in 2015, Christians in the area have been working to turn the former abortion facility into a free community health clinic for people without health insurance. The new Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic is scheduled to open in November, staffed by a team of volunteer doctors and nurses, according to the report.  They said the miraculous transformation really began with prayer.

Prayer Point:  As sad as it is, people who support homosexual, so called marriage, are calling their marriage a nontraditional marriage. They are also claiming that people who get married, divorced, and remarried, as having a nontraditional marriage. Do not let them give society this smoke screen.  One man and one woman is traditional marriage!

Prayer Point:  The State of Iowa says churches during public services, can’t limit bathroom use to a person’s born gender.
